DMZ in Modern Warfare 4 is set in the Hajin Exclusion Zone, a persistent, evolving extraction map. Here's how to make more of your runs end in an extract and fewer in a lost bag.
1. Risk only what you can lose
Don't bring your best kit on every run. Use cheaper loadouts for mission and learning runs, and save your strongest gear for when you're farming specific objectives.
2. Plan your exit before you drop
Look at the extraction points the moment you load in. Know your nearest exit and a backup in case another squad is camping the first one.
3. Parachutes are loot
Parachutes have to be found or crafted in the match. If your plan relies on jumping off something tall, grab one early.
4. Respect the AI
Enemy AI was toned down in the October 21 patch, but it can still punish you if you get careless. Clear rooms slowly, use cover, and don't fight AI and a player squad at the same time.
5. Play as a squad
Stay within support range, call out loot and threats, and agree in advance whether you're fighting or avoiding other squads.
6. PC players: check your setup
DMZ needs TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot turned on. Sort that out before you queue.
Level your DMZ weapons faster
Weapon progress is shared across modes, so guns you level elsewhere are stronger in Hajin. Our MW4 weapon leveling and bot lobbies get your DMZ loadouts ready faster.
