There's no single "best loadout" in Modern Warfare 4. Weapon tuning is built around playstyles, so the best class is the one that fits how you play. Here's how to build one.
Start with your role
- Entry / slayer: SMG or fast-handling assault rifle, built for movement and aim-down-sights speed.
- Anchor / lane holder: a steadier assault rifle or marksman weapon, built for range and recoil control.
- Objective player: something forgiving at mid range, with a utility-heavy field upgrade.
Gunsmith basics
Don't fill every slot just because you can. Each attachment has trade-offs. Decide what the gun is missing (range, handling or recoil) and fix that. Use the in-game stat bars to compare builds.
Apex Attachments
Fully leveling a weapon unlocks its Apex Attachment, which adds a unique effect without taking an attachment slot. That's effectively a free extra attachment, so it's worth committing to your main weapon early.
Perks: Pick 3
MW4 uses a Pick 3 perk system. Pick for your role:
- Hardline lowers killstreak costs, which is great if you're still learning and streaks feel out of reach.
- Ghost keeps you off enemy UAVs, which is essential for flankers.
Use all 12 slots
You get 12 custom loadouts. Make dedicated classes for specific modes and maps instead of one do-everything build.
Skip straight to the Apex Attachments
Leveling every gun to max takes a long time. Our MW4 weapon leveling service unlocks Apex Attachments across your favourite weapons, or use our 24/7 bot lobbies to level them yourself much faster than in public matches.
