Fortnite October 20, 2026 Kai Mercer
Epic's annual Halloween event has returned. The mid-October update brought new Fortnitemares content alongside fresh map rotations and quality-of-life fixes across Battle Royale, Reload and OG modes.
Follow-up patches landed on October 20 to clean up lingering bugs, and a beta build is testing a double-damage timer, pop-up notifications and two new gold spawners.
Fortnitemares rewards are time-limited, so if you've been meaning to finish quests or grab event cosmetics, now's the time.
